Village Responder

Our International First Responder Course is the gold standard in first aid training for people who might find themselves up to 72 hours away from comprehensive medical care. In reality, this could describe anyone who works, travels or volunteers in our region. Commit to expanding your knowledge with fast-paced, scenario based learning. This course will change the way you view yourself and give you deeper confidence about caring for yourself and others, wherever you find yourself in the world. The medical content of our IFR is reciprocal with the Wilderness First Responder (WFR) certification required for licensed wilderness guides worldwide. However, we teach this material as it applies to life in Indonesia, which creates an invaluable learning experience for students living in medically resource-poor settings.

Join us for an action-packed day of disaster preparation, appropriate for the whole family. This workshop is a hands-on adventure that will help you asses your readiness for an earthquake, eruption or any other emergency you might face in Bali. You and your household will bring a backpack or bag, packed with the things that you feel might be useful in an evacuation. We will use the contents of that bag to act out possible emergency scenarios and we will use our learnings to create unique emergency plans for each participant or household. During the workshop, we will create family reunification plans, learn to build emergency shelters and consider what our next steps would be if we were forced to unexpectedly leave our homes. Pelatihan Emergency Responder Internasional mendukung masyarakat yang ingin bertanggung jawab atas rantai kelangsungan hidup mereka sendiri, satu siswa sekaligus. The International Parent Responder was designed to help parents and caregivers understand the medical realities of living in Bali and to strengthen skills in those areas that pose the highest risk. Parents and caregivers are often called on to be thier own family’s first responder. This course helps you successfully fulfill that role, even in a medically resource-poor environment. We use active, scenario-based training to help you develop new abilities and hone existing ones. We will help you put your existing knowledge into a useable framework that makes skills easier to recall during the pressure of a real incident. This course will also help you build and strengthen your community network, so you can get the support you need in a real emergency.
